V8 Liquidation Sale - Everything Must Go!!!
« on: March 11, 2012, 08:54:51 PM »
I'm getting out of v8's completely... for now anyway...
For now, everything I have is being sold.

For my own convenience, I am doing this in one thread.
Sorry if it's a pain for you guys, but no way I can keep track of 2 dozen threads on different items... on multiple boards...

Here is a link to the build thread I was using for the engine..
http://seattleblueovals.com/index.php?topic=31.0

If just the price is listed, then shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
I am willing to cover shipping on some items, and that will be stated just after the price for those items.

email me at:
v r i s t a n g at gmail.com for pics (no spaces, at=@)

Due to my hectic schedule, I cannot promise to ship anytime other than weekends.  I *might* be able to pull off a mid-week shipping, but due to my work schedule I cannot promise anything in advance.
Please be patient, and let me know in advance if you are in a hurry.  Understand though, I may not be able to meet shipping deadlines.
I just want to be completely honest and up front with this, as I sometimes need to work very long hrs on very little notice (One of half a dozen reasons I'm selling off this project).

If you don't like the price, make an offer.
I'm not going to give this stuff away, but I am willing to negotiate.

Iridium Fine Wire Plugs - $50
Set of 8, sized for the above Canfield heads.
I intended to experiment with these fine tip plugs, which are supposed to promote faster flame propagation.

Mezierre Water Pump - $325
p/n = WP312
This pump does have the idler pulley attached to the nose, so that it can be directly swapped into an existing belt routing.
Bought new, never used except for mockup

93 Cobra ecu/MAF/Injector Conversion - $200, shipped
ecu is an X3Z.  I used this with a TwEECer on my 408w, so the Ford sticker has been removed.
I have run the MAF on my 2.3 without issue.
The 24Lb Injectors were pulled from a j/y car.

Canton 351w 7qt Road Race Pan - $200
This has the T-Sump in the rear.  Used on my own car, and known to be good.
Has dipstick.  Needs pickup tube.

'96 Cobra front brakes - $100
Uprights, and lower control arms

1-3/4" BBK 351w swap Long Tubes, Mid-Pipe, and dumps - $300
Headers have a 3" collector welded on.  3" Mac midpipe, and 3" MAC dumps.

Energy Suspension Engine Mounts - $75
Used on my 351w.  They drop the engine a little, but the Canton pan still cleared the k-member.

Wilson Vic. Jr Converted to EFI, with Elbow, 90mm Accufab TB, and Fuel Rails - $950
Wilson converted this intake for me, optimizing the injector angle (pointing toward the intake valve).  I had the elbow milled down so that it would clear the stock hood, when used with 1" drop k-member.  The Accufab 90mm TB I purchased used.

Solid Roller Lifters - Sold

90mm Lightning MAF meter - $75
Bought new, never used

DCC Fan Controller - $150
Bough new, never used
Dual controller for 1 electric fan and one electric water pump

1.6 roller rocker arms - $200
Bought new from Jay for the heads/cam listed in this ad.  Never used

2 sets of Ford Motorsports Windsor valve covers - $110ea.

New, never used except for mockups

List of stuff that has already sold

A9P ecu - sold
I pulled this from a j/y car.  Ford sticker is still in place.

Canfield 195's - Sold
I purchased these new in 2007 from Jay (CI).  I had them milled for CR, current chamber volume is 60.5 cc.
The 'spark plug issue' was corrected by Canfield
Springs are as follows: Seat = 230 / @ .600 = 560 / Bind = .780
Only installed on block for mockups...
I'll include a set or 2 of Autolite plugs, what ever I have.

CI 410w Custom Cam - Sold
Includes timing chain Jay sent with the cam, as well as an MSD bronze distributor gear (for 351w)
TLSR.  236/254 duration @ .050"
LSA = 112
Lash = .014" HOT
Lobe Lift = .390" / .380"
New, only installed for mockup
Cam sheet comes with the cam
Here is a summary: Victor EFI, 90mm, 10.00-10.5:1 CR, Cranking compression = 186psi, Vac = 13.2", idle = 850 rpm, peak Hp = 5,500, Starting shift = 6,300

8.8" Turbocoupe rear end - Sold
Pulled from a manual, so the gearing is 3.55:1.  4 lug axles and disk brakes.

410w Forged Rotating assy - SOLD
Forged Crank, Rods, Pistons, flywheel, and damper.  The assembly has been balanced locally (Balance sheet available on request).  It is 28oz.  Pistons are Probe pn 10676-040.
No part numbers on the rods or crank.
With the exception of the pistons, I have run this rotating assy in my own car.  The parts are good.
I will throw in all the main and rod bearings that I have.  Std Tension Rings are included as well.

351w "D4" Block - SOLD
Fully machined and align honed.  List of work from the shop that performed it is available.  Work was done locally by Dave Bliss before he retired.
Clearanced at the bottom of the bore for a 408w stroker.
Windage tray, ARP studs, and Main girdle are included, as the align hone was performed with the studs/girdle in place.
I ran this block with a .030" over bore.  Current bore size is .040" over, and was honed for the pistons/rings in the rotating assy listed here.

Damn dude ... :(

I was hoping one day i would see this thing together..so whats the plans for the white car then?

I wish this was a better time for me, as i would be all over the canfields.. :'( They would work out good for my lil' 347.

Only thing   i could offer would be some trade work, need anything done/built around the place?

I was hoping to finish it up too, but life is taking me in another direction now

The white GT will get converted to a 2.3, then come a small/stock turbo, and finally the Volvo head conversion...
It should be a fun hobby car, while still being a decent daily driver for commuting to work.

I won't post this anywhere for a day or so, as I wanted to give locals dibs.
I'm sure I'll find more stuff as I sift through the shelves too

I know I have a couple electric fans, one Taurus one other one...

They are 838-16, but they predate the improvement...
I had them taped up in preparation to grind them.

Heads

I forgot that I had opened up the coolant passages on the front.
I'm including the HG kit pictured, as well as a couple of HG and lower intake gaskets I was using for mockup... or I can toss them out...

Oil Pan

I found the new/unused 1-piece oil pan gasket after I took the other pics, but it is included.

One of the pick up tubes pictured is brand new, and correct for this pan.  The other one is a mockup pos that I was using to finalize where all the bends needed to be... this mockup tube was then going to be sent to a professional shop to make a proper tube.
I was having clearance issues between the pickup, girdle, and windage tray.

Intake

Never ported/matched

After the pics were taken I also found a gasket set for the Elbow and TB
I also found a head/intake stud kit from ARP
Both are included, even though they aren't pictured

Fresh cap and rotor

2 1/4" mid pipe from MAC

$50

Obviously used.
It was outside at my old mans place for a while, thus the green algae growing on it.
I left the old O2's in it.  They were fairly new when I pulled the exhaust, but have been sitting for several years... so no guarantees there.

There are some scrapes on the bottom side, but nothing major.
My car is lowered and it was known to drag on speed bumps.
