Not much of an update, but a few weeks ago i got my Team Z upper control arms and their spherical bushings in. Making the rear done , only thing i need is a girdle but tht can come later , but its all bolted together and that led me to tonite.

Where i actually put it on the ground under its on power and rolled it outside and washed it, first time its been out of the garage in almost 3 years, Next is jacking the front back up and installing the flaming river manual rack and Team Z bumpsteer kit, that is sitting on the bench, only need a steering shaft and the steering/suspension is all done. Also a shot of the front coilovers with now 12" springs up front.

And only need the front fender extensions for the body to be complete for now.

Thanx guys, but after pulling it out into the sun for the first time since it was painted a year and a half ago.. :P  i can see quite a bit of stuff that i don't like. Didn't sand enough , should of gone to a higher grit on the final sand before paint, my newbie buffing which i  can see where i should of done more and less..Oh well its just gonna be a driver..no show car here..its a 5 footer..lol..

Next will be playin around with a front end and getting it somewhat setup. one thing i did notice though, i put a level on the rear fenders ,centered on the wheels and the passenger side sits about 3/4" farther out than the drivers side. I knew i needed to square up the rear , but i thought i had it somewhat squarish.  Is adjusting the uppers gonna get it that far? my first thought is no..I know i need to have the car all ready to go with everything installed to really know what to move..but this build is Slooooooowww.

And dana how do you propose we do this "custom" shaft? What do I/we need here? or what kind of idea are you thinkin?

The upper and lower adjustments are inboard enough to make huge changes with very little input.

I fabricated my steering shaft with some chromoly tubing and some u-joints.
U-joints are about 50.00 and the tubing...  I have lots of scrap here to use.

Gotcha.

On the steering shaft i would need to figue out which ends i would need, using the standard 1503 flaming river manual rack and stock steering column. There are so many different ones..im confused..as usual.. :lmaofloor:

I bought some "Sweet Manufacturing" u-joints.

I adapted my stock steering to chromoly tubing, back to another splined u-joint which connects to the Flaming River rack.

You just have to measure what you have, how you want it, then tell me what that is and we can find what you need to buy.

If someone is interested i would sell it.

Times are just to crazy , kids take all my damn time and looks like i need a bunch of dental work. :-\

So if you know of someone looking for a clean semi-built coupe roller , give them a heads up, in no way will i take a lowball offer for it, but will sell it for the right price.

Jason, please post pictures, all four corners, maybe some interior shots and some underneath shots.

If I'm lucky, I can help you sell it.
