aftermarket yokes

what up fellas, i recently acquired a brand new Ford racing aluminum driveline and want to replace the stock yokes for some good ones..

looking for options for the trans yoke end and the flange yoke.  tranny still going to be used is my  t5

what,were, who has some good quality parts.?  or what do u use and has it been good for you?

Mark Williams = GOOD yokes...  period.

I'm running the billet aluminum units and I'm pretty sure they're almost 1/2 the weight.

how about the Strange  Eng. stuff i have been eyeballing there stuff also

i cant find squat for the other end though as the mustangs have that flat flange on them as mine does still. looking for a good aftermarket flange yoke?  but have not had any luck so far.. :dunno:

Which "end"???

I'm not saying Strange isn't "good" stuff, it's just when you put MW stuff next to Strange...   you will see the difference, and you did say "good" not "average".

not the trans end the other the PINION FLANGE YOKE . and im thinkin i cant find much is because if and when u swap out the gears a smart fella would put on one of them nice moly yokes...its what im thinkin.. :note:

just to help ya visualize , heres a pic of the stock mustang flange



heres a nice mark williams "Moly" 8.8 yoke



and a stock mustang pinion flange yoke



and i stole this pic from the web just to show u how it attaches..



so whatcha think? as in the diff end, i mean i hear a lot more problems about the trans yoke end breaking or what not, could i get away with the stock one for a while?

and when the time comes swap gears and ill put a good yoke on the sucka. and then change ideas, well this also brings up an idea with moving the engine back an inch also..hummm..got to think ..

I threw that "flywheel" style piece of crap in the metal bin.

aluminum..cool.

well i still have the flywheel looking piece of crap...lol..

 well ...now i dont see any reason to upgrade right now as that is what ill be running until the time comes to swap gears..and then i will replace the flywheel piece with a nice chrom-oly piece like shown above....hummm......... :waiting:


btw how are things going  in your neck of the woods dana..?
