I'm just getting started with my 1969 Fastback project. It has a great body and interior, the car came equipped with an inline 6 and I want to convert to a 302 possibly a 351. The inline 6 it came with was the larger of the 2 offered that year and has 5 lug wheels. The engine compartment is basically empty all that remained is now gone. All basic wiring is there. My questions are:

Will I have to change the fuel line? I read somewhere that the fuel line would have to be changed?

Are the motor mounts to the frame and on the engine the same on a 351 W and a 302?

What about the wiring harness / what will be different and what will I have to change about it?

I'm opting to keep the c4 the car came with as it is still intact and should mount nicely to either motors correct?

Lastly how can I tell what size rear is in the car, it looks to be an 8" will I have to upgrade the axles?

Thanks
Corey

Keep in mind that the body is virtually rust free. I havent done anything to the exterior and am just now getting to the engine. The interior was out and in boxes, I cleaned it up - bought a few odds and ends and put it back together - came out pretty good for original condition.
